MilitaryBikers.org Terms of Use

1. General

MilitaryBikers.org welcomes you to the Military Bikers forum hosted by MilitaryBikers.org. The MilitaryBikers.org forum consists of the message board (also called a forum or online community), Private Messaging, and Virtual Motorcycle Garages within an enhanced profile system. The purpose of the MilitaryBikers.org forum is to provide a location on the internet where Motorcycle Riders associated with the U.S. Military can discuss issues such as general motorcycle discussion, Technical Help, Safety and Training of Motorcycle Riders, current Motorcycle News and also Buy and Sell items in the Classifieds section. We take pride in the way that the community is administered and will ban delete any member at our sole discretion if we feel that the MilitaryBikers.org Terms of Use has been violated.

2. User’s Acceptance of Terms of Use
These Terms of Use shall govern your access, visits and participation in the MilitaryBikers.org forum. By registering for aMilitaryBikers.org forum account, by using or visiting the forum, you are subject to the Terms of Use. If you do not agree to all of the Terms of Use, you should not access, visit, or participate in the MilitaryBikers.org forum in any way. MilitaryBikers.org reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the MilitaryBikers.org forum and/or these Terms of Use from time to time at its sole discretion and without notice. The MilitaryBikers.org forum is provided on an AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis. MilitaryBikers.org will not be liable to you or any third-party for any claims or actions arising or resulting from your use, visit, or participation in the MilitaryBikers.org forum and for any modification, suspension, or termination of theMilitaryBikers.org forum, or termination of your access to the MilitaryBikers.org forum.

3. Registration and Membership Levels
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use and participate in the MilitaryBikers.org forum unless you have received permission from your parent or guardian. If you wish to have a MilitaryBikers.org forum account, you must provide current, accurate, and complete information about yourself during the account registration process. By joining theMilitaryBikers.org forum, you expressly agree to be bound by the Terms of Use as entered into by and betweenMilitaryBikers.org and you. Membership is open to all Motorcycle Riders that are associated with the U.S. Military such as Members of the U.S. Military, those that Served in the U.S. Military, a U.S. Military Family Member or a Contractor working alongside the U.S. Military.

Standard Membership – The membership is free and open to all Motorcycle Riders that meet our membership requirements.
Vendor Membership – If you have a product or service that you would like to offer to members of MilitaryBikers.org, please contact us at [email protected] Vendors will have the ability to freely promote their product or service and will have the option to run contests to help promote their business.

4. Conduct
You must abide by the following rules of conduct:

a. Do not engage in any unlawful conduct in the MilitaryBikers.org Forum. In particular, do not post, publish, or distribute any defamatory, obscene, infringing or other unlawful material or information in the MilitaryBikers.org forum.

b. Treat others in the MilitaryBikers.org forum as you would expect them to treat you. Do not engage in personal attacks or any type of “flaming” of other users. Do not “troll”, i.e. post topics or opinions that are designed to provoke a negative response from one or more specific users.

c. Do not use offensive language. If you have any doubts about whether a particular statement might be considered offensive by other users, do not post it.

d. Do not engage in disruptive activity in the MilitaryBikers.org forum, such as persistent off-topic contributions in unrelated forums or comments, or statements that might incite other users to violate these guidelines or participate in illegal activities.

e. Do not contribute content that contains photos, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity, or any other applicable law unless you own or have rights to these materials.

f. Do not post any instructions, software or other materials that would allow participants or third parties to harm other users’ computers or to inappropriately access software or websites.

g. Do not post any computer programs that contain destructive features, such as viruses, worms or Trojan horses. Do not employ any type of bots for the use of scrolling, showing multiple screens, or other activities that might disrupt online communication.

h. Do not falsely impersonate any other person in the forum, including MilitaryBikers.org forum Administrators or Moderators.

i. Do not use the MilitaryBikers.org forum to spam other users, including sending identical and irrelevant submissions to many different discussion areas, Private Messages, Chats, the Email This Member Feature or any other area of theMilitaryBikers.org forum. If you are not a member of our Vendor Program, please do not use the MilitaryBikers.org forum as a means to freely promote your products or services. This includes the use of your website as your member name. Please respect the rights of those businesses that have chosen to support MilitaryBikers.org by joining as a vendor on the site.

j. Do not misrepresent the source of anything you contribute.

k. While you may use the MilitaryBikers.org forum to provide information about a business that might be of interest to other users (without spamming them), the MilitaryBikers.org forum is not to be used as a platform for you to contribute content which may be considered an advertisement for a product, service or business, or posting of items for sale from your company, business or storefront unless you are a member of our Vendor Program. MilitaryBikers.org is not responsible for any products, services or businesses which may be found posted in the forum and the purchase or use of any product, service or business that is posted within the MilitaryBikers.org forum is solely at your own risk, and MilitaryBikers.org assumes no liability for such purchase or use.

l. Any space provided to you in the MilitaryBikers.org forum is for your own personal use (Not advertising products or services unless you are a member of our Vendor Program), and may not be sold, licensed, exchanged or bartered for any purpose. This includes storage space on the MilitaryBikers.org server, and all areas within the MilitaryBikers.org forum to include Signature Lines. MilitaryBikers.org reserves the right to edit or delete any information which we may consider to be an advertisement at any time at its sole discretion and without notice. We also reserve the right to modify member permissions to disallow any feature which we consider being used as a means of advertising at any time without notice. Advertising space is available through MilitaryBikers.org and will allow you to promote your product, service or business in a way that will not be in violation of our Terms of Use. n. Do not rely on the MilitaryBikers.org forum for the safe and secure storage of any materials, such as photos, documents and software. The MilitaryBikers.org Forum is not designed as the primary place to store any of these materials, andMilitaryBikers.org is not responsible for the alteration, deletion or loss of any stored items. o. MilitaryBikers.org reserves the right to remove at any time, without notice, any contribution that violates these guidelines.MilitaryBikers.org also reserves the right at any time, without notice, to warn, ban and or delete a user who has violated these rules of conduct from any or all areas of the MilitaryBikers.org forum. MilitaryBikers.org reserves the right to use the Internet Protocol Address of the member violating the Terms of Use to determine the Internet Service Provider and to turn over access log information such as Internet Protocol Addresses, access times and any other relevant information in reference to the abuser to the Internet Service Provider of those that violate the Terms of Use. Working with the Internet Service Provider may result in your loss of privileges and or termination on their system.

p. Some participants may post Internet website links in the MilitaryBikers.org forum. MilitaryBikers.org is not responsible for the content on the websites associated with these links. In addition, we must remind you that some content and links on the Internet contain adult content that is not suitable for children and may be offensive to some users.

q. You are responsible for any actions you may take based on information or advice you receive while online. Use your own good judgment when evaluating information provided through the MilitaryBikers.org forum or any other communication service. The decision to share information or conduct transactions with anyone is your own; therefore conduct your own research prior to making any decisions.

5. Contributions

If MilitaryBikers.org and its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, agents, and employees should incur any liability to a third party arising out of or in any way related to your use of the MilitaryBikers.org Forum, you agree to indemnify and holdMilitaryBikers.org free and harmless from any such liability, and from all loss, claims, costs, demands, debts and causes of action in connection therewith, including reasonable attorney’s fees.

 

 

MilitaryBikers.org Privacy Policy

MilitaryBikers.org does not require that you provide personal information such as a phone number or street address, the decision to provide personal information is voluntary. However, in order to register for an account with theMilitaryBikers.org forum, you must provide your email address. By providing your personal information to MilitaryBikers.org, you consent to the collection, processing and storage by MilitaryBikers.org of your personal information in accordance with the following terms of MilitaryBikers.org’s Privacy Policy.

Although you must be a member to use many areas and features of the MilitaryBikers.org forum, you should not post any personal information in any area of the MilitaryBikers.org forum. We do not have a need for the majority of the information that the window states that we are requesting access to. They are just alerting you to the fact that if we had designed the application allowing the connection of the two systems differently, then we could gain access to that information. We have no need to know your favorite movies, music, and other items listed not associated with the connection of the two systems to establish a successful login between facebook and MilitaryBikers.org
