Some info has come my way and it's not good. Disrespectful actually.
As you may or may not know Verizon has 45,000 employees on strike/lock out.
One issue that should be impotant to us all is Veteran's Day.
CEO Lowell McAdams is heading up contract negotiations and on the table is that Verizon is pushing to NOT recognize Veteran's Day as a holiday within their company workforce.
Futher more a organization call Veterans Advantage has recently recognized Lowell McAdams with their "TopVet" award.
So here's what I've been trying to do about the situation. I'm starting a movement to encourage Veterans Advantage to denounce Mr. McAdams actions and hopefully recind their bestowed honor as "topVet".
If you'd like to help me out with this you can go to http://www.facebook.com/vetrewards
1. "like" their page
2. Post on their wall your feelings about Lowell McAdams heading up the non recognition of Veteran's Day at his work place.
or you can go to http://veteransadvantage.com and contact them directly.
You assistance in with this matter would be appreciated. Thank you.
